The National Pensions Law (2012 Revision), in this Law referred to as the \u201cprincipal Law\u201d, is amended in section 3 as follows \u2014 (a) by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical sequence the following definitions \u2014 (Law 41 of 2020) I Assent, Martyn Roper Governor Date: 4th day of September, 2020 National Pensions (Amendment) (No. 2) Law, 2020 Law 41 of 2020 \u201c \u201ccivil partner\u201d has the meaning assigned by the Civil Partnership Law, 2020; \u201ccivil partnership\u201d has the meaning assigned by the Civil Partnership Law, 2020; and \u201cperiod pertaining to civil partnership\u201d means a period beginning with the entering into a civil partnership and ending on either the death of one of the civil partners or on the date set out in \u2014 (a) a decree of dissolution or nullity of the civil partnership; (b) a decree of presumption of death of a civil partner; or (c) a decree of judicial separation;\u201d; and (b) in the definition of the words \u201cjoint and survivor pension\u201d, by deleting the words \u201cand his spouse\u201d and substituting the words \u201cand the person\u2019s spouse or civil partner\u201d.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_3\", \"num\": \"3.\", \"text\": \"Amendment of section 23 - inspection of administrator\u2019s documents 3.
