(1) This Order may be cited as the Customs Tariff (Amendment of Schedule 2) Order, 2024. The Customs Tariff Act (2023 Revision) is amended in Schedule 2, in paragraph 5 as follows \u2014 (a) in subparagraph (1)(c) as follows \u2014 (i) by inserting before the word \u201cif\u201d the words \u201csubject to subsubparagraph (d), \u201d; and (ii) by deleting the full stop after the words \u201cCI$500\u201d and substituting a semi-colon and the word \u201cand\u201d; and (b) by inserting after sub-subparagraph (c) the following sub-subparagraph \u2014 Paragraph 2 Customs Tariff (Amendment of Schedule 2) Order, 2024 SL 48 of 2024 \u201c(d) if the passenger is a resident returning from an overseas visit during the period commencing 1st December, 2024 and ending on 6th January, 2025, dutiable personal and household goods (not including merchandise) at the discretion of the Director, up to a value of CI$1000.\u201d.
