This Order may be cited as the Health Practice (Amendment of Schedules 1 and 3) Order, 2025.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_2\", \"num\": \"2.\", \"text\": \"Amendment of Schedule 1 to the Health Practice Act (2021 Revision) - Health Practice Commission 2. The Health Practice Act (2021 Revision) is amended in Schedule 1, in paragraph 1, as follows \u2014 (a) in subparagraph (1), by repealing sub-subparagraph (b) and substituting the following sub-subparagraph \u2014 \u201c(b) an attorney-at-law entitled to practise in the Islands;\u201d ; and (b) in subparagraph (7) as follows \u2014 (i) in sub-subparagraph (c), by deleting the word \u201cor\u201d appearing at the end of that sub-subparagraph; (ii) in sub-subparagraph (d), by deleting the full stop appearing at the end of that sub-subparagraph and substituting the words \u201c; or\u201d; and Paragraph 3 Health Practice (Amendment of Schedules 1 and 3) Order, 2025 SL 38 of 2025 (iii) by inserting after sub-subparagraph (d) the following subsubparagraph \u2014 \u201c(e) it is within the public interest to do so.\u201d.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_3\", \"num\": \"3.\", \"text\": \"Amendment of Schedule 3 to the Health Practice Act (2021 Revision) - constitution and general proceedings, etc. of the Councils 3. The Health Practice Act (2021 Revision) is amended in Schedule 3 as follows \u2014 (a) in paragraph 1(2) by repealing sub-subparagraph (a) and substituting the following sub-subparagraph \u2014 \u201c(a) at least three members shall be registered practitioners in the principal list of any of the Councils;\u201d; and (b) in paragraph 2, by inserting after subparagraph (4) the following subparagraph \u2014 \u201c(4A)Notwithstanding subparagraph (4), the Cabinet may terminate a person\u2019s appointment as member of a Council if the Cabinet is satisfied that it is within the public interest to do so.\u201d.
