These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Transition) (Global Citizen Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021. 2. Amendment of regulation 2 of the Immigration (Transition) (Global Citizen Exemption) Regulations, 2020 - definitions 2. The Immigration (Transition) (Global Citizen Exemption) Regulations, 2020, in these Regulations referred to as the \u201cprincipal Regulations\u201d, are amended in regulation 2 by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical sequence the following definition \u2014 \u201c \u201cannual income\u201d, in relation to an applicant, includes \u2014 (a) the annual salary of the applicant; (b) the annual salary of the applicant\u2019s spouse or civil partner; (c) any employment bonus of the applicant and the applicant\u2019s spouse or civil partner; Regulation 3 Immigration (Transition) (Global Citizen Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 SL 74 of 2021 (d) income from investments of the applicant and the applicant\u2019s spouse or civil partner; (e) share dividends of the applicant and the applicant\u2019s spouse or civil partner; and (f) any other form of recurring income of the applicant and the applicant\u2019s spouse or civil partner, as approved by the Director of WORC.\u201d.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_3\", \"num\": \"3.\", \"text\": \"Amendment of regulation 3 - application for and grant of Global Citizen Certificate 3. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 3 by repealing paragraph (1) and substituting the following paragraph \u2014 \u201c(1) A person who \u2014 (a) is employed outside of the Islands and intends to remain so employed if a Global Citizen Certificate is granted; (b) provides evidence to the Director of WORC that he or she has a continuous source of annual income which is not less than the following minimum amounts \u2014 Person\/s to be present in the Islands Minimum annual income of the applicant Applicant USD 100,000 Applicant and one dependant USD 150,000 Applicant and two dependants USD 168,000 Applicant and three dependants USD 186,000 Applicant and four dependants USD 204,000 Applicant and five dependants USD 222,000 Applicant and more than five dependants At the discretion of the Director of WORC; and (c) provides evidence that the income is generated outside of the Islands, Immigration (Transition) (Global Citizen Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 Regulation 4 SL 74 of 2021 may apply to the Director of WORC in the form provided by the Director of WORC for the grant of a Global Citizen Certificate and, in support of such application, shall provide information, documents and fees in accordance with these Regulations.\u201d. 4. Amendment of regulation 7 - expiration of Regulations 4. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 7 as follows \u2014 (a) in paragraph (1), by deleting the word \u201c2023\u201d and substituting the word \u201c2024\u201d; and (b) in paragraph (2), by deleting the word \u201c2021\u201d and substituting the word \u201c2022\u201d.
