(1) Where the presence of an animal within the area of an airport might, in the opinion of an authorised officer, constitute a possible hazard to aircraft, such officer may take any steps he considers desirable to abate such hazard including killing such animal or causing it to be killed by any ready and practical means available. (2) Upon the destruction of any animal under the powers conferred by this regulation, its carcass shall become the property of the Crown and may be disposed of as any authorised officer shall direct. (3) No person shall be entitled to any compensation for any loss or damage suffered by reason of anything done by an authorised officer under the powers conferred upon him by this regulation.
