The Health Practice Regulations (2021 Revision) are amended by inserting after regulation 9 the following regulation \u2014 \u201cClinical trial guidance 9A. (1) The Commission may, in the public interest, issue and publish guidelines to regulate any aspect of clinical trials. (2) Where the Commission issues and publishes guidelines in accordance with paragraph (1), it may consult such persons as the Commission considers necessary, including the Chief Medical Officer. Regulation 2 Health Practice (Amendment) Regulations, 2026 SL 3 of 2026 (3) In paragraph (2), \u201cChief Medical Officer\u201d means the person for the time being holding, or acting in, that office in the public service of the Islands.\u201d.
