Clause 1 provides the short title and commencement of the legislation. Clause 2 amends the principal Act by repealing section 80D which exempts a company designated under this section from obligations under Part XVIIA which deals with the identification of beneficial owners, relevant legal entities and registrable persons. Clause 3 amends the principal Act by amending the reference in section 156A of the principal Act to \u201cPart XVIIB\u201d to a reference to \u201csection 26 of the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act, 2023\u201d.
