In these Regulations, \u201cpatient\u201d means a person who claims to be in urgent and immediate need of medical attention.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_3\", \"num\": \"3.\", \"text\": \"Curfews and cordons 3. Subject to the exemptions herein provided, every person shall comply with the directives of the Commissioner of Police given under section 29A of the Police (Amendment) Law, 2004 in relation to curfews and cordons. 4. Exemptions 4. (1) Notwithstanding regulation 3, a person shall be exempted from the requirements of these Regulations on producing satisfactory evidence that he falls into one of the following categories: Regulation 4 SL 7 of 2004 (a) constables and members of the Special Constabulary; (b) members of the Fire Brigade; (c) medical personnel; (d) ordained Ministers of religion; (e) members of the National Hurricane Committee; and (f) holders of written exemption permits issued by the Commissioner of Police, whilst engaged in the business in respect of which the exemption was granted. (2) Where a medical emergency arises, a patient may be allowed by a constable to proceed to and from the Hospital or other medical facility on providing the constable, upon request, with the following personal information: (a) his name and address; (b) his date of birth; (c) the general nature of his medical condition; (d) the name and address of his next of kin; and (e) any other information which the constable may consider reasonably necessary to establish the patient\u2019s bona fides. (3) A person accompanying a patient pursuant to paragraph (2) may be required to provide the constable with personal information similar in nature to that which the patient is required to provide under that paragraph.
