Vessels arriving in territorial waters shall, before having any physical contact with the shore, supply by radio or other means to the officer on duty at the nearest port the \u2014 (a) name of the vessel; (b) name of the master; (c) port of registry; (d) last port of call; (e) next destination; (f) jurisdictions entered since the last port of call; (g) number of persons aboard; (h) particulars of persons \u2014 Public Health (Quarantine) Regulations (2021 Revision) Regulation 7 (i) suffering from any disease; (ii) who have so suffered during the voyage; or (iii) who have died during the voyage; (i) particulars of persons aboard who, within fourteen days, have been located in an infected place; and (j) any further information required by the officer on duty.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_7\", \"num\": \"7.\", \"text\": \"Grant of pratique 7. The officer on duty at a port to which the information required by regulation 6 has been communicated by a vessel may grant pratique to such vessel by radio signal or otherwise and until such pratique has been so granted such vessel is and remains in quarantine from the time of her arrival in the territorial waters.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_8\", \"num\": \"8.\", \"text\": \"Health declaration 8. In the case of a vessel in quarantine \u2014 (a) the officer on duty may go aboard, inspect the ship\u2019s log and ship\u2019s papers and make such investigation as that person considers necessary; (b) no person shall leave or board the vessel without the permission of the officer on duty; (c) the master shall hoist by day and by night whichever of the Quarantine Signals is appropriate as set out in the British Edition of the 1931 International Code Visual Signalling; and (d) the master shall anchor the vessel at the direction of the officer on duty.\", \"element\": \"section\", \"heading\": null}, {\"eId\": \"sec_10\", \"num\": \"10.\", \"text\": \"Delivery of mails 10. Whoever \u2014 (a) contravenes any requirement of these regulations; Regulation 12 Public Health (Quarantine) Regulations (2021 Revision) (b) gives information in the truth of which that person does not believe for the purpose of evading any provision of these regulations; (c) obstructs any officer in executing that person\u2019s duty under these regulations; or (d) personates an officer, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of five hundred dollars and, if the offence is a continuing one, to a fine of fifty dollars for every day or part of a day during which the offence has continued. fourteen days, have been located\nin an infected place; and\n(j)\nany further information required by the officer on duty.\n7.\nGrant of pratique\n7.\nThe officer on duty at a port to which the information required by regulation 6 has\nbeen communicated by a vessel may grant pratique to such vessel by radio signal or\notherwise and until such pratique has been so granted such vessel is and remains in\nquarantine from the time of her arrival in the territorial waters.\n8.\nHealth declaration\n8.\nThe master of every vessel arriving in a seaport in the Islands shall complete and\nproduce to the officer on duty the declaration set out in the Schedule.\n9.\nEffect of quarantine\n9.\nIn the case of a vessel in quarantine \u2014\n(a) the officer on duty may go aboard, inspect the ship\u2019s log and ship\u2019s papers\nand make such investigation as that person considers necessary;\n(b) no person shall leave or board the vessel without the permission of the\nofficer on
