(Price $2.00) The Public Lands Law, 2017, Law 35 of 2017 The Public Lands Law, 2017, Law 35 of 2017 was published as Supplement No. 7 with Extraordinary Gazette No. 39 dated 10 May, 2017. Section 2 of the Public Lands Law, 2017, Law 35 of 2017 contains clerical errors which are to be corrected as follows - (a) amend the definition of “Commission” as it is not in the correct alphabetical order within section 2; it should follow the definition of “commercial activity” rather than precede it; (b) amend the definition of “public land” by deleting the words “or Cayman waters”; and (c) amend the definition of “vendor’s permit” by inserting after the words “commercial activity” the words “, that is otherwise lawful,”. Subscribers are requested to amend their copies of the Public Lands Law, 2017, Law 35 of 2017, accordingly.
