Paragraph 1

NATIONAL PENSIONS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020 (EXTENSION OF PENSION HOLIDAY) (NO. 2) ORDER, 2022 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(3) and 2 of the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020, the Cabinet makes the following Order — Citation and commencement (1) This Order may be cited as the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Extension of Pension Holiday) (No. 2) Order, 2022. (2) This Order comes into force on 30th June, 2022. Extension of duration of the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020 Sections 1, 2, 4 and 6 of the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020 expire on 30th September, 2022.

Paragraph 3

Extension of duration of Part 1A of the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020 - suspension of pension contributions The pension holiday period under section 5A of the National Pensions Act (2012 Revision), as amended by section 2 of the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020, expires on 30th September, 2022. Repeal of the National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Extension of Pension Holiday) Order, 2022 The National Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Extension of Pension Holiday) Order, 2022 is repealed.
