CONTRIBUTION ORDERS

PRACTICE DIRECTION No. 13/2014 (GCR O.1, r.12) CONTRIBUTION ORDERS Paragraph 19(6) of Schedule 2 to the Children Law (2012 Revision) provides that where – (a) a contribution order is in force; (b) the Department of Children and Family Services serve another contribution notice; and the contributor and the Department reach an agreement under paragraph 18(7) in respect of that other contribution notice, the effect of the agreement shall be to discharge the order from the date on which it is agreed that the agreement shall take effect. Where the Department of Children and Family Services notifies the court of an agreement reached under paragraph 19(6) of Schedule 2 to the Children Law (2012) Revision, the notification must be sent in writing to the designated officer of the court.
