In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 56 and 142 of the Traffic Law, 2011 (Law 26 of 2011), the Cabinet makes the following Regulations - These Regulations may be cited as the Traffic (Amendment) Regulations, The Traffic Regulations, 2012, are amended in regulation 27 as follows - (a) in subregulation (3) - (i) by deleting the Item “Application fee for importation of heavy equipment as defined in the Customs (Temporary Provisions) Regulations, 2005” and substituting the Item “Application fee for importation of heavy equipment”; and (ii) in respect of the Item entitled, “Application fee for importation of heavy equipment as defined in the Customs (Temporary Provisions) Regulations, 2005”, by deleting the corresponding fee of “50” and substituting a fee of “100”; and (b) in subregulation (5) - (i) by deleting the word “Oversize ” wherever it appears and substituting the word “Oversized ”; and (ii) under the sub-heading “Special Vehicles and Oversize Vehicles”, by deleting the words “12 months” wherever they appear.
