THE MONETARY AUTHORITY (ADMINISTRATIVE FINES) REGULATIONS, 2018
The Cabinet, in exercise of the powers conferred by 42A, 42H and 46 of the Monetary Authority Law (2016 Revision), makes the following Regulations -
#1. These Regulations may be cited as the Monetary Authority (Administrative
Fines) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018.
#2. The Monetary Authority (Administrative Fines) Regulations, 2017 are
amended by repealing regulation 31 and substituting the following regulation - “Transitional provision
#31. The Authority shall not impose a fixed fine, fixed fine
(continuing) or a discretionary fine or take any steps to do so under Part 3 in respect of the breach of a prescribed provision that took place before the 15th December, 2017 or within ninety days after that date.”.
