Customs and Border Control Law, 2018 (Law 34 of 2018) CUSTOMS (BONDED WAREHOUSES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2020 In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 24 and 133 of the Customs and Border Control Law, 2018 the Cabinet makes the following Regulations — Citation These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Bonded Warehouses) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. Insertion of Schedules 37 and 38 into the Customs (Bonded Warehouses) Regulations (2019 Revision) – Bonded Warehouse – Tortuga Rum Company Limited; Bonded Warehouse – Cayman Distributors Limited The Customs (Bonded Warehouses) Regulations (2019 Revision) are amended by inserting after Schedule 36, the following Schedules —

Regulation 2

“SCHEDULE 37 Bonded Warehouse – Tortuga Rum Company Limited Part 1

That part of the building, located at Block 20B, Parcel 441, 260 North Sound Road, Industrial Park, George Town, Grand Cayman, consisting of an area of 2,370 square feet, more particularly delineated on the plan attached to the application for approval of a bonded warehouse made by Robert Hamaty of Tortuga Rum Company Limited, dated 17th October, 2016. Part 2 That the existing bond in the amount of CI$1,350,000.00, entered into and maintained with a recognised bank or insurance company, and held on behalf of Tortuga Rum Company Limited, shall be used as security to cover the duty risk in respect of the wines, spirits, beer and cigarettes in the bonded warehouse at any time. That no goods, other than wines, spirits, beer, and cigarettes which are the property of Tortuga Rum Company Limited, shall be stored in the bonded warehouse. Part 3 Carlene Hamaty

Regulation 2

SCHEDULE 38 Bonded Warehouse – Cayman Distributors Limited Part 1

That part of the building, at block 13D, parcel 425, located at 266 Eastern Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman, consisting of an area of 6,684 square feet, more particularly delineated on the plan attached to the application for approval of a bonded warehouse within an existing bonded warehouse area of twenty-two thousand, two hundred and fifty-seven square feet, made by Sophie Morin of Cayman Distributors Limited, dated 14th December, 2018. Part 2 That the existing bond in the amount of CI$3,115,000.00 entered into and maintained with a recognised bank or insurance company, and held on behalf of Cayman Distributors Limited, shall be used as security to cover the duty risk in respect of the cigarettes, along with the existing bonded goods of beer, liquor and wines, in the bonded warehouse storage area at any time. That no goods, other than cigarettes, along with the existing bonded goods of beer, liquor and wines, which are the property of Cayman Distributors Limited, shall be stored in the bonded warehouse storage area.
