COMPANIES WINDING UP (AMENDMENT) RULES 2022
The Rules and Forms attached hereto are made by the Insolvency Rules Committee pursuant to Section 155 of the Companies Act (2022 Revision) to provide for the requisite Rules and Forms in relation to the amendments to Part V of the Companies Act (2022 Revision) effected by the Companies (Amendment) Act 2021.
Citation, Commencement, and Interpretation The Rules (together with the annexed Forms) attached to this Commencement Order shall be referred to as the Companies Winding Up (Amendment) Rules 2022. The said Rules shall come into operation on the 31st day of August 2022, referred to in this Order as the "Commencement Date". The said Rules shall apply to every proceeding which is pending or commenced in the Court before, on, or after, the Commencement Date. Words and expressions in the said Rules which are also used in the Companies Winding Up Rules 2018 shall have the same meaning in the said Rules as they have in the Companies Winding Up Rules 2018.
