Labour Act (2021 Revision) LABOUR (NATIONAL MINIMUM BASIC WAGE) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 2025 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Labour Act (2021 Revision), the Cabinet makes the following Order — Citation and commencement (1) This Order may be cited as the Labour (National Minimum Basic Wage) (Amendment) Order, 2025. (2) This Order comes into force on 1st January, 2026. Amendment of paragraph 2 of the Labour (National Minimum Basic Wage) Order, 2016 - National Minimum Basic Wage The Labour (National Minimum Basic Wage) Order, 2016 is amended in paragraph 2 as follows — (a) in subparagraph (1), by deleting the words “shall be $6” and substituting the words “shall be $8.75”; and (b) in subparagraph (2), by deleting the words “shall be $4.50” and substituting the words “shall be $6.56”.

Paragraph 3 Labour (National Minimum Basic Wage) (Amendment) Order, 2025

Amendment of paragraph 3 of the Labour (National Minimum Basic Wage) Order, 2016 - computation The Labour (National Minimum Basic Wage) Order, 2016 is amended in paragraph 3 as follows — (a) in subparagraph (1), by deleting the words “no more than $1.50” and substituting the words “no more than $2.19”; and (b) in subparagraph (2), by deleting the words “no more than $1.50” and substituting the words “no more than $2.19”.
