Regulation 1

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Private Funds Law, 2020, the Cabinet makes the following Regulations — Citation These Regulations may be cited as the Private Funds (Fees) Regulations, 2020. Interpretation In these Regulations, “Law” means the Private Funds Law, 2020. Fee for application or changes The fee payable on making an application to be registered under section 6 of the Law or filing the details of a change with the Authority under section 11 of the Law is three hundred dollars. Annual registration fee (1) The annual registration fee payable by a private fund under section 10(1) of the Law is — (a) three thousand, five hundred dollars; and (b) an additional amount of two hundred and fifty dollars in respect of each of the private fund’s alternative investment vehicles up to a maximum of twenty-five investment vehicles,

except that where a private fund is making its first application for registration under section 10(1) of the Law the annual registration fee shall be nil if the application is submitted to the Authority within a period of not more than six months after the date of commencement of the Law or such further period as may be specified by the Authority.
