National Conservation (General) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 Regulation 1
National Conservation Act, 2013 NATIONAL CONSERVATION (GENERAL) In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33(2) and 50 of the National Conservation Act, 2013, the Cabinet makes the following Regulations — Citation and commencement (1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Conservation (General) (2) These Regulations come into force on 1st June, 2021. Amendment of regulation 9 of the National Conservation (General) Regulations, 2016 - restriction on taking, purchasing etc. of blue winged teal and white winged doves The National Conservation (General) Regulations, 2016 are amended in regulation 9 as follows — (a) in paragraph (1), by deleting the words “May to August” and substituting the words “January to September”; (b) in paragraph (2), by deleting the words “April to September” and substituting the words “October to July”; in paragraph (3), by deleting the words “September to April” and substituting the words “October to December”; and

(d) in paragraph (4), by deleting the words “October to March” and substituting the words “August to September”. Transitional All proceedings pending at the date of the commencement of these amending Regulations in respect of offences committed or alleged to have been committed against regulation 9 of the National Conservation (General) Regulations, 2016 shall be continued and dealt with as if these amending Regulations were not in force.
