Regulation 1
PERSONNEL (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, In exercise of the powers conferred by section 67 of the Public Service Management Act (2018 Revision), the Cabinet makes the following Regulations — Citation and commencement (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Personnel (Amendment) Regulations, (2) These Regulations shall come into force immediately after the commencement of the Personnel (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. Amendment of regulation 1 of the Personnel (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 - citation and commencement The Personnel (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 are amended in regulation 1(2) by deleting the words “1st March, 2026” and substituting the words “31st March, 2026”. Amendment of regulation 39 of the Personnel Regulations (2025 Revision) - misconduct The Personnel Regulations (2025 Revision), in these Regulations referred to as the “principal Regulations”, are amended in regulation 39(3) and (5), respectively, by deleting the words “in accordance with regulation 41” and substituting the word “forthwith”.
Regulation 4
Amendment of regulation 40 - discipline for inadequate performance The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 40 as follows — (a) in paragraph (1)(c), by deleting the word “unsatisfactory” wherever it appears and substituting the word “inadequate”; (b) in paragraph (2)(c), by deleting the words “in accordance with regulation 41(2)” and substituting the word “forthwith”; and by repealing paragraph (3). Repeal of regulation 41 - dismissal The principal Regulations are amended by repealing regulation 41. Made in Cabinet the 4th day of February, 2026. Kim Bullings Clerk of the Cabinet
