Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act, 2023 BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP TRANSPARENCY (LEGITIMATE INTEREST ACCESS) In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22(6) and 30 of the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act, 2023, the Cabinet makes the following Regulations — Citation These Regulations may be cited as the Beneficial Ownership Transparency (Legitimate Interest Access) (Amendment) Regulations, 2026. Amendment of regulation 4 of the Beneficial Ownership Transparency (Legitimate Interest Access) Regulations, 2024 – application for access to information on the search platform The Beneficial Ownership Transparency (Legitimate Interest Access) Regulations, 2024 are amended in regulation 4 as follows — (a) in paragraph 2(b)(iii)(A) as follows — (i) by deleting the words “thirty dollars” and substituting the words “seventy-five dollars”; and (ii) by deleting the word “and” which appears at the end of the paragraph;

Regulation 2 Beneficial Ownership Transparency (Legitimate Interest Access)

(b) in paragraph 2(b)(iii)(B), by deleting the full stop and substituting a semicolon and the word “and”; and by inserting after paragraph (2)(b)(iii)(B) the following — “(C) two hundred and fifty dollars for administrative services in respect of the application if the application is for multiple applications to be made within a period of one year in relation to any number of legal persons.”.
