PLANTS (IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION) (FEES) REGULATIONS, PUBLISHING DETAILS Arrangement of Regulations PLANTS (IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION) (FEES) REGULATIONS, 2009 Arrangement of Regulations Regulation Regulation 1 PLANTS (IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION) (FEES) REGULATIONS, 2009 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Plants (Importation and Exportation) Law (1997 Revision), the Governor in Cabinet makes the following regulations — Citation These Regulations may be cited as the Plants (Importation and Exportation) (Fees) Regulations, 2009. Fees The fees to be charged, in respect of matters arising under or provided for or authorised by the Law, are prescribed in the Schedule.

(1) The following fees are payable as Inspection Fees, in respect of an inspection by an officer of the Department of Agriculture at the place of import or export, other than the airport and airport cargo warehouse - (a) during normal working hours $35 per inspection officer per hour or part thereof (b) outside of normal working hours $45 per inspection officer per hour or part thereof for a call-out inspection outside of normal working hours $90 per inspection officer for the first hour and $45 per hour or part thereof, thereafter (d) for a call-out inspection on a Sunday or a public general holiday $120 for the first hour per inspection officer and $60 per hour or part thereof, thereafter (2) In this paragraph, “normal working hours” means the period commencing at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. on any day other than a Sunday or a public general holiday.
