Regulation 1

Citation and commencement These Regulations may be cited as the National Conservation (Fees and Forms) Regulations (2022 Revision). Forms The Council shall prepare and publish in the Official Gazette and in such other media as it considers necessary the forms required under the National Conservation Act, 2013 [Law 24 of 2013] for permits and licences and for the applications for such permits and licences. Fees The prescribed fee for the item specified in column 1 of the Table of Fees in the Schedule is the amount specified in column 2.

Fees Item Description Fee Application for any type of permit or licence other than for a tourist vessel licence in wildlife interaction zone None licence- vessels under 50 feet in length licence - vessels 50 feet or more in length $100- payable by 30th January of each year Where first licence granted after 30th January, fee is pro-rated at $8.00 per month Licence for wildlife interaction zone tourist vessel - vessels 50 feet or more in length $200- payable by 30th January of each year Where first licence granted after 30th January, fee is pro-rated at $16.00 per month Fish pot licence Spear gun licence Licence to take turtle Seine net licence Individual lionfish culling permit Nil Individual lionfish spear permit Company lionfish spear permit-either type $20 per spear
